Chad Reece appointed chair of ABI board of directors

Chad Reece, vice president of government and industry relations of Winnebago Industries, will serve as chair of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) board of directors for the 2025 fiscal year, which began July 1, ABI announced Tuesday.

As chair, Reece is responsible for leading the board of directors in developing and implementing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives, as well as communicating ABI’s mission to Iowans.

“The Iowa Association of Business and Industry represents the full and diverse scope of companies in our state and has a rich history of leading advocacy, policy and promotion that benefits us all,” Reece said in a prepared statement. “I am excited to be a part of this great organization as we continue to advance our mission to be a representative and impactful voice for Iowa businesses.”

Reece has worked for Forest City-based Winnebago Industries for more than 36 years, including management and executive roles with responsibilities in marketing, public relations and corporate relations. His involvement with ABI includes serving as an ABI board member and as the board’s vice chair, and graduating from the ABI Foundation’s Leadership Iowa program.

Reece, who is originally from northern Iowa, has also served on multiple local, state and national boards including the RV Industry Association, RV Women’s Alliance and Winnebago Industries Foundation. He is the chairman of the RV Industry Association’s public relations committee and a member of the government relations executive council.
