Cheap gas, inevitably, brings rise in SUV sales
TrueCar.com reports that Americans start buying sport utility vehicles when gasoline is around $3 a gallon.
CNNMoney reports that sales of the big vehicles jumped 11.8 percent last year, as gas prices fell sharply.
Gasoline now is below $2 a gallon in most of the country, and the strong sales of big vehicles are expected to continue.

“The heat is off the hybrids. The heat is off the smaller cars,” said Barna.
