Lori Chesser, a senior shareholder at Davis Brown law firm and chairwoman of its immigration department, has been elected to the National Consortium of Immigration Law Firms. Chesser has practiced immigration law in Des Moines for more than two decades, representing individuals and families and a range of large and small businesses. Clients have included entrepreneurs and investors, researchers and scientists, and artists and athletes. The National Consortium of Immigration Law Firms includes attorneys, fewer than 20, who are located in centers of business and economic growth and major gateway cities where there is a demonstrated need for quality legal assistance, according to a release.
