Chow’s 11th annual Winter Classic Invitational, one of the largest gymnastics competitions in Iowa, is coming to Des Moines this weekend. The event kicks off Friday at the Jacobson Exhibition Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds and continues Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. each day. The event, hosted by Chow’s Gymnastics Booster Club, will bring in nearly 1,200 Junior Olympic Level 3-10 and Xcal gymnasts from more than 45 facilities across the Midwest. A detailed competition schedule can be found on the Chow’s Booster Club website. Admission is $12 per day for adults, $8 for children, and $10 for seniors. Weekend passes are available.
