CI3 and Automated Door Group has announced a name change to Basepoint Building Automations. Since 1983 the two companies have been divisions of Control Installations of Iowa Inc., according to a press release. “Our two companies have always worked together, but our clients didn’t always understand the depth of our combined services and expertise,” said Pat Richter, Basepoint Building Automations CEO. “This change will help us leverage our strength as a trusted resource to our customers for automatic door technologies, access security, HVAC Controls, and automations.” Basepoint Building Automations offers installation and maintenance services for all types of automatic door equipment, systems integration services, software applications for security and control systems. It also offers HVAC installation for large commercial buildings as well as installation and maintenance of building card access control and video security systems. The company is headquartered in Des Moines and also serves Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Davenport and cities in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and South Dakota.
