Registration is now open for the Engage DSM: Resident Academy, a new six-week civic engagement program aiming to give Des Moines residents an inside look at how the city runs. During the academy, residents will meet city leaders and discover how each department operates, learn how to access city services and engage with local government and tour city facilities, according to a news release.
