City of Waukee unveils new logo

The new logo chosen to represent Waukee is an abstract composition that prominently displays a “W” against an energetic grid of gradually intersecting lines, which “speaks to the unique synergies that exist in Waukee and the many paths of life that one may enjoy in the community,” the city said in a release. The city retained the Flynn Wright advertising agency to conduct research and to create a new brand platform and position. A 12-person committee chose tokeep “The Key to Good Living” as the community’s motto.
