Just in time for the holiday season, the Clive Community Foundation is awarding $11,500 in grants to two Clive-area human services nonprofit organizations. The 2021 grant recipients are Clive Community Services and the Clive Lions Club. Clive Community Services will receive $10,000 to support its human service programs, which have seen a heightened need in 2021. The Clive Lions Club will receive $1,500 for its annual holiday basket project. “As the community continues to face the health and economic challenges prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we feel we must do all we can to address Clive’s quality of life initiatives,” said Jane Fogg, Clive Community Foundation president. “These two programs meet that need. CCF is pleased to award these legacy grants in an effort to ensure that the 2021 holiday season shines bright for our local community.”
