Clive launches virtual assistant to connect with residents, businesses

128 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawThe city of Clive has launched a virtual assistant named “Greenie the Goat” that will help Clive residents access city information 24/7 through the city’s website or by text message. Greenie is a multilingual chatbot supporting 75 languages that helps residents find information or submit service requests, a news release said. Residents can also opt in to receive text alerts about citywide events such as winter weather ordinances, special events or curbside collection delays. Clive partnered with Citibot to launch the webchat and text messaging service. Greenie combines generative artificial intelligence and machine learning to handle a wide range of topics.
