Community Choice Credit is constructing a 7,455-square-foot building at 818 Eighth St. S.W. in Altoona. In July, the Altoona City Council approved a site plan for the 1.49-acre parcel. The financial institution plans to relocate its Altoona branch from a leased space at 3160 Eighth St. S.W. According to Susie Hoots with Altoona’s building department, the project is being managed by Valley Park, Mo.-based MN Contracting LLC. To her understanding, all the project’s subcontractors are based in Greater Des Moines.
