Des Moines Register: Construction will temporarily turn Ingersoll Avenue into a westbound one-way street starting Sept. 6. The eastbound lanes between 28th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway will be closed until approximately late October to allow crews to pave the road, said Lauren Kollauf, the executive director of the Avenues of Ingersoll and Grand. In the meantime, drivers can head eastbound via a detour south to Grand Avenue, she said.
