Commercial real estate loans are on the verge of surpassing their pre-recession all-time peak of $1.731 trillion, InvestorPlace.com reported. Based on data from the Federal Reserve, loan value most recently measured $1.723 trillion, within 0.5 percent of the prior peak, which occurred at the end of 2008. Prices also are rising. In August, Moody’s/RCA Commercial Property Price Index (CPPI) showed that prices had risen 15.2 percent from the prior year.
