Corridor Business Journal: The strong economy kept the nation’s top trucking companies growing in the past year, including Cedar Rapids-based CRST International, Transport Topics reports. The trade magazine ranked CRST 24th in its newly released 2019 Top 100 For-Hire Carriers list, with revenue of $1.685 billion. Des Moines’s Ruan was 39th with revenue of $957.13 million, and Heartland Express of North Liberty was at No. 57 with $610.8 million in revenue. UPS led the list of Top 100 carriers with $71.86 billion in revenue, followed by FedEx, XPO Logistics, J.B. Hunt Transport Services and Knight-Swift Transport Holdings.
