DART seeks input on route changes
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) will hold a public meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave. The meeting will allow for public discussion of service changes on DART’s downtown Link A and B routes. Currently the A route runs along Eighth and Ninth streets from the Center Street Park and Ride station to Walnut Street. The B route covers the same north-south span along Fifth and Sixth avenues. Under the proposed change, the two routes would be combined into one along Seventh and Eighth streets. To see a map of the proposed change, click here.
