The deadline to submit artwork for the fourth annual Celebration of Iowa: Agriculture Art Award is quickly approaching. Organized by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, the theme for this year’s exhibit is “Women in Agriculture.” The deadline for submissions is July 6. The Celebration of Iowa: Agriculture Art Award is a juried art exhibit recognizing Iowa artists and celebrating Iowa’s role as a global leader in agriculture. Artwork will be judged on innovation of concept, execution of contest theme, and the aesthetic and technical quality of the work. The application for artists can be found online.
