Deep chills delay mail delivery
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays the couriers of the U.S. Postal Service, but wind chills between minus 20 and minus 50 in Iowa have done just that, reports Radio Iowa. While mail delivery has been suspended in Iowa, Minnesota and parts of Illinois and Wisconsin, the state government is still open for service, Gov. Kim Reynolds said. The governor’s schedule will take her to four eastern Iowa cities today to visit businesses, which will continue as planned.
