The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation awarded $144,765 to 25 Iowa agencies through its mini-grant program.

Mini-grants are intended to support one-time oral health projects or short-term projects of up to a year in duration.

Seven organizations in Greater Des Moines received grants: The AIDS Project of Central Iowa, Children and Families of Iowa, Drake University Head Start, the Iowa Department for Public Health, the Mercy Foundation, Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa and the Iowa Dental Association.
