The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation has awarded $50,000 to the Iowa Dental Foundation, the Iowa Dental Association’s nonprofit foundation, to help fund the Iowa Mission of Mercy (Iowa MOM) project, which is scheduled for Nov. 5-6 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. Iowa MOM is expected to serve more than 1,000 patients seeking dental care at no cost and with no need for prior appointments. The clinic will open each day at 7 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. More information is available at www.IowaMOM.org.
