Delta Dental of Iowa will host its next Green Room conversation in-person from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines. April Schmaltz, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Iowa, will host a discussion with Steven Rogelberg, professor of organizational science, psychology and management at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, about how to lead meetings with success. Attendees will learn about Rogelberg’s evidence-based practices to make meetings engaging and inclusive, according to a news release. “A recent estimate suggests that collectively employees attend a staggering 55 million meetings a day in the U.S.,” Schmaltz said in a prepared statement. “To hear a national leader like Steven share his insights on making meetings more engaging and productive is a great opportunity for Iowa business leaders to take away actionable steps they can use every day.” The event is free and registration is available here.
