Dunkin’ Donuts will open 12 restaurants in Greater Des Moines by 2018, with the first slated to open in 2012.

The company today announced the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with father-and-son team Jim and Drew Cownie. The Cownies secured a partnership with Knapp Properties Inc. of Des Moines to find their initial locations.
