Des Moines airport becomes Global Entry enrollment center

According to a news release, Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Iowa residents can now apply to be interviewed for trusted traveler status at the Des Moines airport, and receive TSA PreCheck to make travel more convenient, officials said. Interviews are available as soon as this weekend. According to the release, conditionally approved applicants can schedule an interview at this site.
