Des Moines approves racial profiling ban after years of persistence by organizers
Des Moines Register: After years of coordinated effort by local organizers, the Des Moines City Council on Monday approved an anti-racial profiling ordinance that prohibits biased policing and says officers have a duty to intervene when witnessing “unreasonable force” by another officer.
