Des Moines Art Center to host conversation with 3 Iowa creatives on racial diversity

Robert Moore, journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones and artist-activist Jordan Weber will participate in a panel discussion on growing up in Iowa at 3 p.m. July 28 at the Des Moines Art Center. The three Iowa natives will share how their upbringings as a racial minority has been a factor in their creative pursuits. To learn more about the three speakers, click here. The event, which will happen in conjunction with b. Robert Moore’s solo exhibit “In Loving Memory,” has already reached capacity. The discussion will be recorded and shared online.
