The city of Des Moines and partner Revize Software Systems received Gold recognition for the city’s new website from a panel of international judges as part of the 18th annual Horizon Interactive Awards, the city announced in a news release. The new website was launched a year ago. The website had last been upgraded  nearly a decade ago. “This award not only validates the team’s accomplishments of redesign and modernization but also honors their collaboration and motivation to deliver a better product for the residents of Des Moines,” Anna Whipple, the city’s chief information officer, said in a prepared statement.
