Area Development magazine named Des Moines one of the “Most Attractive Metros for Business” in its August/September issue. In a survey, industry consultants were asked to consider eight site-selection criteria, including business costs, fast-track permitting and shovel-ready sites, to determine the areas they considered the most attractive investment locations.
