The Iowa Brewers Guild announced that the city of Coralville and Jeff Bruning, owner of hospitality group Full Court Press, won the inaugural Iowa Ambassador of Craft awards, which recognize individuals and organizations that have shown exemplary industry leadership in Iowa. A press release said Coralville was honored for its BrrrFest Winter Beer Festival and Bruning for the way his venues have helped elevate the stature and availability of Iowa craft brews. “The Iowa craft industry is strong because of breweries, but also thanks to all the partners who support them,” said Iowa Brewers Guild Executive Director Noreen Otto in a prepared statement.
