Designs for cold storage warehouse approved by Des Moines board

78 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentDesigns for a proposed 66,045-square-foot cold storage warehouse in a light industrial area southwest of downtown Des Moines were approved this week by the Urban Design Review Board. The facility proposed by Iowa Pacific Processors Inc. would be constructed adjacent to the company’s existing facility at 2606 Sunset Road. The $20 million expansion project is the first phase of the company’s long-term growth plans that include the construction of a new production facility, offices and space for laboratories.
