Des Moines Area Community College and the Millennium Foundation Kosovo are launching a multiyear program enabling Kosovo women to earn a two-year degree in energy-related fields at DMACC, the college announced today. Millennium Foundation Kosovo is an entity under the Kosovo Threshold Program, designed to address Kosovo’s unreliable supply of electricity, a key constraint to the Republic of Kosovo’s economic growth. Millennium Foundation Kosovo Chief Executive Officer Petrit Selimi will be in Iowa on Tuesday to join DMACC President Rob Denson for a partnership agreement signing at 4:30 p.m. at the DMACC Iowa Culinary Institute, Building 7.
