Dotdash Meredith will lay off 28 workers from its Des Moines office, effective Feb. 1, according to a notice filed on the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) site. The layoffs are part of a larger cut of 4% of the publisher’s workforce, or 143 people, Reuters reports. InterActive Corp. unit Dotdash bought Des Moines-based publisher Meredith Corp. in 2021 for $2.7 billion, creating the largest print and digital publisher in the U.S.
