The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors: Dr. Adreain Henry, president of Mercy College of Health Sciences, and Ardis Kelley, chief strategy officer for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. Henry is also a licensed optometrist who continues to see patients. His career spans leadership roles in higher education, health care and the U.S. Army. Kelley’s board service has benefited several nonprofits, including Bravo Greater Des Moines, Des Moines Performing Arts, Des Moines Water Works Park Foundation, Greater Des Moines Partnership, Greater Des Moines Public Arts Foundation, and Obesity Awareness in Action. “The Community Foundation is fortunate to benefit from the leadership of our board of directors. We welcome Dr. Henry and Ardis with deep appreciation,” said Community Foundation President Kristi Knous.
