Drake University announced Monday the Bulldog Promise and the Bright College Pathway, two programs that provide full-tuition coverage to eligible Iowans. The Bulldog Promise offers full tuition for a four-year undergraduate degree at Drake, and the Bright College Pathway covers the cost of a two-year associate’s degree from the university’s John Dee Bright College, which opened in 2021. “We believe that access to opportunity is a fundamental right. These programs provide the hardworking, talented students of Iowa access to a world-class education with aid that is equitable to their financial situation,” said Marty Martin, Drake University president, in a prepared statement.
