Drake law student receives award
Israel Kodiaga, a third-year law student at Drake Law School, was named the inaugural recipient of the ARAG Chad Hensley Diversity Scholarship. Kodiaga, a native of Kenya, was given the award based on his academic achievements, community service and personal commitment to protecting human rights. Following his graduation from Drake, Kodiaga plans to return home to support civil rights, social reform and quality of life in East Africa. ARAG, a global provider of legal insurance, named the award after Chad Hensley, an ARAG board member and Drake Law School graduate.
