The DSM Book Festival will return in four events this spring, highlighting nationally acclaimed authors, hands-on learning activities, writers’ workshops, children’s activities and more in a hybrid in-person and virtual format, the Greater Des Moines Partnership announced this week. The festival will be scheduled across March 27, April 3, April 10 and April 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are open until Feb. 15 for authors, illustrators, publishers, nonprofits and merchants to promote their goods and services on DSMbookfestival.com; approved applicants will receive a free online listing from early March to Oct. 31.
