Dupaco Credit Union has announced it will provide down payment assistance through Fannie Mae’s HomeReady Loan Down Payment Assistance program. The program will provide $2,500 to eligible homebuyers, which can be used as a credit toward a down payment and closing costs. “Fannie Mae’s HomeReady Down Payment Assistance helps members with a credit towards their down payment paving the way for potentially lower monthly payments throughout the loan’s lifespan,” Krystal Frederick, Dupaco’s assistant vice president of mortgage lending, said in a prepared statement.
