_{Dupaco Community Credit Union, in partnership with the Innovation Lab, has awarded 12 Iowa nonprofits Gift of Innovation grants. In Des Moines, Iowa Safe Schools and Project Iowa Inc. received grants. Recipients of the grant will receive innovation sessions led by the Innovation Lab, a Dubuque-based coworking space offering innovation services to help with efforts such as product or process solutions, strategic planning and business model improvements. The sessions will be tailored to the need of each nonprofit. “It’s going to be exciting to help build the capacity of these amazing nonprofit organizations,” Eric Dregne, Innovation Lab director, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve seen the impact our InnovationWorks process has made for companies like Dupaco, and this partnership is the perfect opportunity to spread innovation into the nonprofit sector.” To view the full list of recipients, click here.}
