DuPont announces advisory committee

E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. Inc., parent company of Iowa-based Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., announced full membership of its advisory committee on agricultural innovation and productivity for the 21st century.

Former U.S. Sen. Thomas Daschle chairs the committee and is joined by members Charlotte Hebebrand, J.B. Penn, 2010 World Food Prize winner Jo Luck and 2002 World Food Prize winner Pedro Sanchez.

The committee’s purpose is to examine the best public policy mechanisms and business practices to increase global agricultural production, a DuPont news release said.
