A former Dwolla employee told the TV station the layoffs were announced last week and mostly involved mid-level and senior-level employees. According to the former employee, Dwolla employed 68 people before the layoffs. Dwolla said the cuts are part of a “strategic realignment” that will “provide sustainability and focus.”
