The Iowa Architectural Foundation has teamed up with Full Court Press Restaurants to present the 11th annual “Eat. Drink. Architecture.” walking tour of downtown Des Moines on April 15. The event offers participants a chance to explore the architectural heritage of Des Moines while enjoying the city’s food scene. Volunteer architects will guide attendees on a walking tour through the Market District, Court Avenue, the Civic Center Historic District, and the East Village, stopping at Full Court Press restaurants Truman’s Pizza, Rita’s Cantina, and the Red Monk to sample crafted food and drinks. The tours will depart at various times throughout the day and last approximately three hours. Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite for $40, and all proceeds will support IAF programming throughout the state.
