EatingWell, Dole enter into partnership

Meredith Corp.’s EatingWell magazine has entered into a yearlong agreement with Dole Food Co. Inc.’s DOLE Salads brand to encourage Americans to eat more salads, fruits and vegetables in 2013. The partnership represents the first time the world’s largest provider of fresh fruits and vegetables has teamed up with a major media brand, the companies said in a release. Elements of the campaign to encourage more healthful eating include new recipes and serving suggestions from the kitchens of Dole and EatingWell, educational outreach and a sweepstakes for a $25,000 customized health and wellness prize package.
