The Iowa Economic Development Board has approved $2,259,000 in direct financial assistance through the Grow Iowa Values Financial Assistance Program to help Ames-based WebFilings with the proposed construction of a 51,000-square-foot facility and to create an estimated 251 jobs. Tax incentives through the High Quality Jobs program were also approved by the board for Perishable Distributors of Iowa, which will help finance a $7.3 million modernization project in Ankeny that is expected to support the employment of 379 full-time workers.
