EMC Insurance Cos. unveiled its initial plans for a downtown park at the corner of Seventh and Walnut streets at a public meeting Wednesday hosted by the Downtown Neighborhood Association.

Des Moines Register: EMC Insurance Cos. unveiled its initial plans for a downtown park at the corner of Seventh and Walnut streets at a public meeting Wednesday hosted by the Downtown Neighborhood Association. The park will be located at the site of the former Younkers department store that burned in 2014. A lot would be packed into the 0.4-acre space, according to preliminary plans.
