Event firm’s new assistant VP to oversee Principal Charity Classic

Birmingham, Ala.-based Bruno Event Team, which manages The Principal Charity Classic, has named Greg Conrad as assistant vice president of the golf division. Conrad will oversee the Charity Classic, which will be played from May 27 to June 1 at Wakonda Club. Conrad most recently served as vice president of tournament business affairs for the LPGA Tour. Prior to that, he was the championship director for Bruno Event Team for the U.S. Senior Open in Hutchinson, Kan., and was the director of sales and marketing for The International, the former PGA Tour event in Castle Rock, Colo.
