Des Moines “NON-CON”, a conference for nonprofit professionals, will feature a speaker from the Washington, D.C.-based Bolder Advocacy and workshops that cover coalition building, communicating for change and avenues for influencing public policy. The event at the State Historical Building is sponsored by the Des Moines chapter of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network and costs $15 for members and $50 for nonmembers. The event includes lunch. Register online.
