Event Jan. 29: Science Center ribbon-cutting for renovated planetarium
Science Center of Iowa will hold a ribbon-cutting for its revamped planetarium from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Star Theater, with its 50-foot, 360-degree domed screen, has special projectors, lighting and new programming. It is included in regular admission fees.
