Gov. Terry Branstad will headline a lineup of speakers during a forum on learning and attention issues Wednesday, Jan. 6. The event, “Understanding the 1 in 5” is hosted by Understood, an online learning disabilities support coalition, to educate, engage and mobilize parents of children with learning and attention issues. The free forum will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Science Center of Iowa; reservations are requested.
