The international Startup Weekend events for Global Entrepreneurship will include a weekend of sessions in Ames Friday through Sunday.

The international Startup Weekend events for Global Entrepreneurship will include a weekend of sessions in Ames Friday through Sunday. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Gerdin Business Building at Iowa State University. Speakers include Lyndsay Horgan and Shawn Harrington, co-founders of Goquets online florist. A shuttle from Des Moines is available. The sessions are designed to encourage collaboration among developers, designers, marketers and startup backers. Read more
