Event Oct. 1: Iowa Caucus Consortium plans federal issues series

Ed Rendell and Paul Stebbins, chairman emeritus of World Fuel Services Corp., will discuss the national debt and the how the budget will affect the domestic priorities of 2016 presidential candidates. Both are affiliated with Fix the Debt, an organization that seeks to lower the national debt to improve the economy. The event will take place 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at the State Historical Building and is free and open to the public. Read more and register online.
