The Iowa Insurance & Financial Services Education Foundation is sponsoring its inaugural Kegs & Corks event Oct. 1 on the rooftop of the Des Moines Social Club. The 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., event provides an opportunity for insurance and financial industry professionals to engage with other industry professionals, while drinking wines and brews from including Jasper Winery, Confluence Brewing Co. and Firetrucker Brewery, with Catering by Malo. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the IIFSEF scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to Drake University and University of Iowa students.
