The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold a free financing forum for existing and startup businesses in Des Moines on Monday, Oct. 19, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The forum will include presentations from the Iowa Small Business Development Centers, the Service Corps of Retired Executives and the Women’s Business Center. It will also feature presentations and a panel discussion from representatives of the SBA and feature SBA lending program overviews. The forum will be held at the Iowa Association of Business and Industry, 400 E. Court Ave., Suite 100. Seating is limited; those interested should RSVP by email and indicate they’re signing up for the Des Moines Financing Forum.
