Metro Arts Alliance on Oct. 3 will host an event celebrating the organization’s 40th anniversary. Held at American Enterprise, 601 Sixth Ave., the Forte celebration will feature hors d’oeuvres and drinks, vignettes of the arts, and American Enterprise’s modern art collection. The event is meant to celebrate the diverse groups of people who make Metro Arts Alliance a cornerstone of the Des Moines art scene, and to acknowledge the valuable contributions of organization partners.
